
Guided NZ – Payment Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 30 June 2025
These Payment Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings and payments made to Guided NZ (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By making a booking or payment, you (“you” or “the customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of [NZD amount]10% of the total booking price is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
1.2. Full Payment: The balance must be paid no later than prior to the scheduled start date of the tour/service.
1.3. Late Bookings: Bookings made within 12 hours of the departure date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
1.4. Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payment by bank transfer, credit/debit card, or PayPal. All payments must be made in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Any other payment can be accepted ( such as USD or EUR , please inquiry )
2. Cancellations and Refunds
2.1. Cancellation by Customer:
- More than 30 days before the start date: Full refund including deposit
- 15–30 days before the start date: full refund of total price
- Less than 15 days: Full refund
2.2. Cancellation by Guided NZ: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any trip due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
2.3. No-Shows: No refunds will be issued for no-shows or unused portions of a booking.
3. Changes and Amendments
3.1. By the Customer: Changes to bookings are subject to availability and must be requested in writing with clear date and via email or via website online form.
3.2. By Guided NZ: We reserve the right to modify itineraries, services, or pricing due to weather, operational requirements, or force majeure. However, any changes will be discussed with customers before making any changes .
4. Pricing
4.1. All prices are in NZD and include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise.
4.2. We reserve the right to adjust pricing due to currency fluctuations, tax changes, or supplier increases.
4.3. Once full payment is received, your price is locked in and will not change.
5. Liability and Insurance
5.1. Guided NZ is not responsible for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from your participation in any of our services.
5.2. We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.
6. Disputes and Jurisdiction
6.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
6.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
